Fort Caroline National Memorial

Fort Caroline National Memorial dates back to 1564. This is among the most historically significant attractions of Jacksonville. This was the first Protestant colony in America, and was established in 1564. The monument was originally a fort that was passed on from one ruler to the next, and was finally declared as a national monument in 1950. The venue is home to a museum with Native American and French artifacts dating back to the sixteenth century.

Little Talbot Island State Park

Prime Osborn Convention Center building was actually home to the largest railway station in America in its heyday, and is truly a work of art. Veterans Memorial Wall

Veterans Memorial Wall is built in honor of the war veterans. It honors all the six branches of service, and is dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the two World Wars, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, as well as the Persian Gulf operations. The outdoor memorial is built in black granite and is inscribed with the legend – proud remembrance and humble tribute.
